(1) Product features: gallium is silver white metal. Density 5.904g/cm3. Melting point 29.78 ℃. Boiling point 2403 ℃. High purity, low freezing point. Due to the complex structure of stable solid, pure liquid has a significant tendency of supercooling, which can be placed in ice bath for several days without crystallization. Soft, brittle, stable in the air. It is soluble in acid and alkali when heated; it reacts violently with boiling water, but only slightly with water at room temperature. It can react with most metals at high temperature. The expansion rate is 3.1% when it is transformed from liquid to solid. It should be stored in plastic containers.
